Return to Giverny was composed in 2012 for clarinetist Thomas Piercy and cellist Suzanne Mueller who gave the world premiere performance on July 22, 2012. It was inspired by the painting "Giverny Revisited" as a reflection on revisiting memories of a familiar place.
